FOTE12 Venue – Senate House
The University of London is conveniently located in the heart of Bloomsbury, next to the British Museum and Russell Square.
Car Parking Facilities
Public car parking is not available at Senate House.
NCP at Woburn Place & Bloomsbury Place.
By Tube
Nearest underground stations: Russell Square (Piccadilly Line)
Goodge Street (Northern Line)
Tottenham Court Road (Central Line and Northern Line)
Euston Square (Circle Line, Metropolitan Line and Hammersmith and City Line)
Euston Station (Victoria Line & Northern Line)
By Air
From Heathrow, the Piccadilly tube line provides a service (approx. 45 minutes) to Russell Square.
From Gatwick, both Network Rail and Gatwick Express run trains to Victoria station (30 minutes) where tube trains and taxis are available.
By Rail
Euston, King’s Cross and St. Pancras mainline stations are within walking distance. The other London mainline stations are a short tube or taxi journey away.
Facilities for those arriving by bicycle
The surrounding area of the University’s central precinct has a number of places in which you can attach and lock your bicycle. However, if you are attending a conference and wish to use the University’s facilities for parking you will need to contact the Conference office to pre-arrange the use of a space.
Please note that spaces are limited and that bicycles left on our premises are done so at the owner’s risk. We recommend that belongings are locked away out of sight as the University can not be held responsible for thefts or damage to bicycles.
Erm, perhaps I’m missing something, but I’ve been through the whole event site and can’t see the dates and venue of the event. This is rather crucial information for a conference I’d have thought… Of course the date could be worked out by subtraction using the countdown clock, and I suppose the location is implicitly ULCC…
