Emily-Ann Nash

Emily-Ann Nash is an elected member of NUS’s national Higher Education zone committee. She was Vice-President for The University of Brighton Students’ Union 2009-11 and one of her main focuses at a local and national level was driving for a 21st century student experience through using digital technologies.

Through theĀ  NUS she has lead the NUS digital agenda, ensuring it was one of theĀ  main policy areas for NUS, since then she has been invited to speak at various education events and has worked to produce a Technology Charter to support and encourage student union’s throughout the U.K to lobby their universities for a 21st century student experience.

She firmly believes that the use of technology in higher education is all about maintaining excellent teaching, underpinned by good practice in the use of technology in the curriculum.

Emily-Ann now works for The University of Brighton focusing on student experience and will continue to drive this important agenda. Through pursuing her MA Education she is continuously developing her learning and understanding of digital technologies in education.
