Arthur Spirling
Mr Arthur Spirling, MBE DMS MBCS CITP MCMI
As Director of ICT, Arthur Spirling is responsible for supporting and developing IT Services – covering teaching, research and business systems and infrastructure across 15 campuses and leads a team of some 220 staff providing 24/7 support for students and staff. He has worked in IT at Imperial since 1964, and is a member of various College-wide internal and external networking committees. He firmly believes that customer service comes first and that IT is simply there to satisfy, cost effectively, real customer needs not be an end in itself.
