Wow – FOTE 09 is almost upon us! It only seems like yesterday that we were wrapping up the inaugural event. Doesn’t time fly!
Over the last few months, we have been busy working away behind the scenes preparing for the second FOTE conference and we think we have done a great job in putting an agenda together that is even better than last year! We hope you agree.
Built around the core themes of cloud computing and social media, we have gathered some of the leading practitioners and suppliers in these areas who will be sharing their unique insight and experiences.
Speakers include, Dr. Paul Miller, Will McInnes, James Clay and Dr. Bill Ashraf, and we feel really privileged that each and every one of our speakers have agreed to take the time out of their busy schedules to contribute to FOTE 09. We really appreciate it!
We are also thrilled that our friends at Huddle.net have agreed to sponsor the conference drinks again this year. Providing a great environment for delegates to network is a key part of what we are trying to achieve with the FOTE series of conferences. With this in mind, make sure you book a later train so that you can catch up with friends old and new over a glass of wine or beer after the event. Don’t worry, we have negotiated a great rate at the Holiday Inn, Mayfair, if you would rather not have to contend with the journey home after some focused networking…
In this blog we will be posting important updates about the conference and will also be adding guest posts from speakers and other useful snippets of information relevant to the conference themes. Make sure you visit regularly or ideally add us to your RSS reader so that you keep up to date with everything that is going on.
We will also be posting updates on Twitter, so make sure you follow us at @FOTiE. The first 50 conference tickets will be make available via Twitter on Monday 3rd August 2009 ahead of a general release on the 5th August, so its worth keeping your eyes peeled so that you stand a chance of claiming those initial tickets.
Finally, if you have any suggestions or comments about how we can make the FOTE 09 experience better for you, please do not hesitate to get in touch or leave a comment on the blog.
The countdown to FOTE 09 begins..
